Oh, hello there fam! Today, we're gonna talk about making pasta from scratch. No more store-bought stuff, we're gonna show you how you can make your own delicious pasta at home. It's gonna take a little bit of effort but trust me, it's worth it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • A pinch of salt

Okay, now that we've got our ingredients, let's get started on making that pasta. First things first, we need to make our dough. We're gonna do this by creating a well with our flour on a clean counter or a large cutting board. Then we're gonna crack our eggs in the center and add a pinch of salt on top.

Now, using a fork or your hands (if you're feeling adventurous), gradually start mixing the flour with the eggs until it forms a dough. Once that's done, knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until it's smooth and elastic. Wrap it in a plastic wrap and let it rest for about 30 minutes.

Let's Roll!

After 30 minutes, take your dough out and divide it into 4 parts. Flatten one part using a rolling pin, and start running it through a pasta machine. If you don't have a pasta machine, you can use a heavy-duty rolling pin and roll the dough as thin as possible.

Once your pasta sheets are ready, you can either turn them into different shapes using a pasta cutter or just leave them as sheets. Either way, you've got yourself fresh pasta that's ready to cook!

Cooking Time!

Okay, now that our pasta is ready, it's time to cook it. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and add your pasta into the pot. Cook it for about 1-2 minutes, depending on the thickness of your pasta. Once it's cooked, strain it and add your favorite sauce. And just like that, you've got yourself some delicious homemade pasta.

Don't be afraid to experiment with different ingredients. You can add herbs, cheese or even vegetables to your dough to make it more flavorful. And if you don't have a pasta machine, don't worry. You can still make this recipe by rolling your dough as thin as possible using a rolling pin.
