- 1 pound linguine pasta

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked linguine, cooked shrimp, parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and salt and pepper to taste into the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined and coated in the garlic cream sauce.
- Serve immediately with additional grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.
