Simple Pasta Recipe
Looking for a quick and easy pasta dish? This simple pasta recipe is perfect for busy weeknights when you don't have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. Plus, it's incredibly versatile so you can customize it to your liking!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound pasta of your choice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta in salted water according to package directions.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to combine.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and enjoy!
Spinach and Ricotta Stuffed Shells
If you're looking for a more indulgent pasta dish, these spinach and ricotta stuffed shells are sure to please. They're cheesy, gooey, and oh so delicious!
Ingredients:
- 1 box jumbo pasta shells
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions:
- Cook the pasta shells in salted water according to package directions.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Add the spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper.
- When the pasta is done cooking, drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Stuff each shell with a spoonful of the ricotta mixture and place in a baking dish.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the shells and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
